Fri, 17 February 2006 Welcome to the CUE 2006 Conference in Palm Springs, CA. I'm Mike Lawrence, Executive Director of Computer Using Educators and I'm thrilled to support the innovation, exploration and sharing of successful strategies that is the CUE Conference experience.
Friday morning you won't want to miss the return of the General Session. We'll be honoring CUE's finest with awards and recognitions, as well as presenting a teaser about NECC 2006 and introducing the CUE Board of Directors nominees.
Lastly, Robert X. Cringely will present the keynote address "Reinventing Television." Attendees will be inspired, challenged, and entertained as he shares his insights on technology, media and the future of education. Get there early, as seating is limited.
Also- on Saturday, plan on touring the Student Technology Showcase. Two separate groups of students from across the state will be displaying their projects. One round between 10am and 12pm and the second round between 12pm and 2pm.
